Show (or Mass?) must go on!

Technological progress has its drawbacks, and sometimes where we would never expect it. On Wednesday, Pope Francis adressed the crowd gathered on San Pietro square, while celebrating the mass. He expressed his deep regret and annoyance seeing the believers taking pictures and playing with their cellphones during this sacred moment. "Elevate your hearts, not your phones", he said.

Seems like the message was truly powerful, judging by the immediate reaction of the crowd. Pope Francis is often described like one of the most progressive Popes in a long time: yet here, he has demonstrated a form of pragmatism facing the modern reality that got out of control.
