Apparently, Game of Thrones is one of the most expensive series produced for now. The costumes are hand-made, designed specially for each actor, and require a long and thorough work. However, the costume designer Michele Clapton has confessed that Night Watch men were actually wearing... IKEA rugs!
Of course the Internet exploded after this announcement.
